THE Process
Step 1
Let's find out about you
I will send you some questions about the kind of wedding flowers you have in mind. If you’re unsure of the exact varieties, or are giving your florist creative licence to choose for you, I will ask for their details so that we can discuss this in more detail. The reason being that some flowers are more suited to pressing than others and I'll need to be sure that I can provide you with a beautiful end result. You can also read my Flower Guide to find out more.
Step 2
Book us in!
So, you’ve chosen your flowers. Hooray! The next stage is to reserve your wedding date with me. A 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation. This becomes non-refundable once I receive your bouquet. The remaining balance will be due once your order is ready for despatch.
Step 3
Send ME your beautiful blooms
I must receive your bouquet within 1-2 days of your event. The sooner I do, the fresher your flowers will still be and the better the end result! Please be sure to use a tracked next day delivery service, and to package your precious blooms as per the instructions I will send you prior to your wedding. I can also accept hand delivered bouquets from local brides (or helpful bridesmaids!) on a pre-agreed date.
Step 4
Let the pressing begin!
I will carefully press your wedding bouquet using traditional pressing methods. Sprig & Press uses no artificial preserving agents. The amount of time this stage takes varies depending on the flower varieties that have been chosen.
Step 5
Framing & Finishing
Once your flowers are ready, I will design a layout and send you a proof so that we can make any necessary tweaks. I want you to love the end result! Once you’re happy, I will frame your piece using stained glass techniques, give everything a thorough clean and polish, before packaging it with care to be sent to you.
Step 6
It's in the post!
I aim to despatch all bridal orders within 12 weeks of receiving your bouquet and any leftover flowers will be put in an envelope and included in your parcel.
